Feathers Of Artemis is a company I started as an out of work archaeologist, recently graduated from UConn and unemployed. As an avid traveler and explorer of cultures both present and extinct I began to express my interest through a new medium, wearable artwork.  I concentrate mostly on feather jewelry but also specialize in gemstone based creations such as necklaces and slave bracelets. I am inspired by Japanese street fashion, Tudor, French pre-Revolutionary, Native American, Greek, Victorian, tribal bellydance and Edwardian styles.

On a personal note, my name is Ginny, I love to read, write, draw, create and explore. I also have a wonderful archaeologist boyfriend who spoils me rotten and who I hope to travel around the world with someday.  I've traveled several places (Guatemala, Greece, France, lived in Japan, and most recently Nepal) but I need to see more.  I aspire to grow my business as well as get a PHD in...something. We'll see where the wind takes me next.
